Is anyone else kinda lost? (MAJOR SPOILERS)

I’m watching with my brother, and I get the general idea of the show, but like some stuff we both feel like isn’t explained very well at all, like we’re just expected to know what’s going on?

Like when Juliette comes into silo 17, why is she pouring dirty water on herself? To clean herself off? To eliminate the “poison” that we don’t know the mechanics of?

I also didn’t understand the heat tape until embarrassingly late, I thought they were gassing them from the inside of the suit, I didn’t realize the outside was actually poisonous. Also while Juliette is prying open the door to silo 17 the tape is peeling off and her wrists are exposed, she just still had plenty of time to get through the airlock?

Why are some relics allowed and some not? What qualifies a red-level relic? So many more questions that I don’t recall right now.

Idk maybe my brother and I are just dumb, but I feel like we’re just guessing what’s being inferred all the time. I feel like they’re giving us too much information with no explanation too quickly despite spending days of my life on this show lol
