Why so toxic?

I just started playing smash and have no skill at all, started a match and fought a shiek that completly destroyed me with combos and t bagged after every kill. There also was no way he didnt realize i wasnt bad or new cuz i didnt hit him with any combos and even fell of the map. Why would you be so toxic against a player thats so mich worse than you what do you get from it?
