Is it possible to unlock STEAM achievements in CO-OP matches?

I tried googling it a couple of times, but got inconclusive results.

Some say that yes, it is possible; Some say yes, but only if you have one other player with you...

Also, the game gets consistently updated from what I understand, so I'd like to know if, in 2025, it is possible to unlock achievements in co-op matches? Thank you!
