It’s been 9 months since I finished the series and I still can’t get the last two episodes out of my head.

Thought it was genius for the show to not reward us viewers and give a fun ending. Franklin not getting his money after days of torture, and years of manufacturing his own downfall, was a great decision. No winners, but man… the lost still affects me. Teddy getting gunned down, Cissy permanently turning her back on Franklin.

The biggest thing that stays with me is when Franklin tracked down Peaches, and it was the least glamorous shit I’ve ever seen on TV. Finds him, kills him, drinks for days trying to open the safe. Gets a tech to come help, only to shoot him in his back.

Franklin got what he deserved, but so many aspects of the show glamorized Franklin, built him up as this unbeatable figure. And to see how he ended… man. What a show, the rare show that stuck the landing.
