Very hungry or mold / need to toss?

My starter is just over 9 months old, I feed it an equal ratio of water and strong Canadian bread flour (12% protein)

The last couple months it’s been kept in the fridge and fed once a week, last week I put it on the counter as I was baking and everything was fine (The starter usually smells like acetone before being fed)

However when I went to feed it today it smelt very strongly of old Parmesan (it was last fed 5 days ago, as I forgot)

This is my first starter and I have no idea whether the sudden smell change is just because it’s very hungry, or whether it’s become moldy and needs to be tossed

I’ve fed it as normal just in case it was just hungry

(The picture is the starter discard I removed when feeding, there’s lots of little air bubbles from it being moved)

Thank you for any help, hopefully it’s safe to use!!
