Starting 40K - Beginners List

Hey guys!

I just started with 40k and I really like the background of the Space Wolves. That’s why I started collecting some of them. I usually play AoS but some friends are playing 40k that’s why I want to dive in with a little army.

For the moment it’s not the plan to build a 2k list. I want to build a small list to have some casual games with my friends and learn the rules. I am thinking about 750-1000 points.

I heard that a refresh is around the corner (maybe at the end of 10th). That’s why I don’t want to spend too much money in buying “old” models. But at the same time I want to have a little bit of the faction related feeling when I am playing Space Wolves.

I already bought following:

1x Ragnar 1x Lieutenant 10x Assault Intercessors 1x Wolf Lord in Thunderwolf 3x Thunderwolf Cavalry 525 pts

What do you guys think I can add to the list in order to get the “space wolves experience” and at the same time avoiding to buy firstborn sculps?
