  • Hank and Tank welcomes a Nascar dude to NXT, OTM take issue with this and tells them to to give their special guest a special seat to watch them beat Hank and Tank's ass tonight.

  • Ashantee approaches Karmen Petrovich and says he thought he felt something last week, Karmen explains he cost her a match so she just returned the favor and he shouldn't be assuming things. As Ashantee leaves Brinley and Sol wonder why he won't just get a hint that he isn't what she's looking for but Karmen tells them they don't know what she wants.

  • Lola Vice storms to the ring after Jaida's victory and tries to get to her but officials hold her back, on the other side of the ring Wendy Choo sneaks up on Tatum and locks a sleeper on her before stuffing her into a rolling trunk.

  • Backstage Lexis King says he thought that after last week he'd have more respect but still feels he is under his father's shadow and thinks winning the Heritage Cup could be a way to prove himself. Dempsey thinks about it before telling Myles to have Ava make the match official. Wren reminds Lexis he'll need to get a cornerman.

  • Backstage Axiom and Nathan Frazer congratulate Je'von on his main event last week but Nathan says he'll win a big one eventually and to get used to it since he had to deal with all this at his age too. Je'von asks if he's trying to push him and Nathan keeps egging him on until Je'von slaps him and walks off. Wes Lee is standing nearby and says he guesses someone finally got to him, first it's because of his age then because you're too successful.

  • Backstage Adrianna Rizzo has been attacked when the D'Angelo Family trying to figure out what happened. Tony says he'll take her to medical as Luca and Stacks heads for Luca's match.

  • Stacks checks on Luca after his match but Oba attacks him and throws him and Luca out of the ring. Oba pulls out a table and goes to set it up but Tony D'Angelo runs down to attack Oba but he is quickly thrown into the rings. Oba grabs a toolbox under the ring and takes some zipties and ties Tony's hand to the ringpost as he lifts up Stacks and tosses him through the table! He clears off the announce table and pulls out a ladder and lays it across the announce table and the ring apron. He forces Tony to watch as he takes Luca and powerbombs him through the ladder!

  • The woman who has been walking in vignettes is revealed to be named Zaria and she will appear at Halloween Havoc

  • We get a Chase U vignette, Andre says Chase U is a place where people can make a change for themselves but Ridge Holland threw that away. Chase U accepted him and allowed him to redeem himself, yet instead he turned on them and now he sees that there is no saving him. Andre says he can't make Ridge feel the damage and heartbreak he caused to Duke, Riley, and Thea but he can make him feel what he felt at No Mercy when Ridge made him leave in an ambulance and challenges Ridge to an Ambulance Match at Halloween Havoc!

  • Ethan Page and NXT Champion Trick Williams meet in the ring. Trick says for what Ethan did last week he should drop his ass but he promised Ava he'll wait until Sunday, what Ethan showed is that he's afraid and desperate. Ethan says maybe that's true, or maybe that's what he wanted them to think. He says people may know him as a father, a husband, a wrestler who's been in the game for 17 years, but sometimes he glosses over the path he had to take to get here. He says he didn't have a performance center like this available 24/7, he didn't have the top minds preparing him for a top spot in the top company the way Trick has. Trick says he gets it and that he didn't have the same path but he isn't going to let Ethan take away from what he's accomplished. Ethan asks if he really gets it? Has he ever been busted open and knew he had to keep going? Has he ever been hit so hard by a weapon and knew he had to keep going? Has he ever tasted his own blood so many times that he started to like the taste. Trick says he's glad Ethan is used to it because he's gonna bust his ass again on Sunday. Ethan says there he is again the smooth talking two time NXT Champion, all flash and no confidence. He says last week was just a glimpse because in the Devil's Playground anything goes and that helps one man, All Ego Ethan Page. He says Trick has the look and every skill to defend his title, but he doesn't have that devil inside of him, and he isn't built for this. Trick says he's went to war with Melo, Ilja, and Pete Dunne but Ethan scoffs at those men being as tough as him and asks if Trick truly believes that any of them wanted to make him regret wanting to be a professional wrestler. Ethan says Trick has never seen that guy in his entire career. Trick says Ethan is all talk, he's never beaten him even when he won that title and he's doing anything he can to stay close to this title. Ethan says he is desperate because it took him 17 years to be a champion in WWE and once he had a taste he became addicted to it and they are about to play in the Devil's Playground, for the first time in Trick's career he'll have to walk through hell under his rules. Trick says he's looking forward to it and drops the mic before turning to leave.

  • Cora Jade and Roxxanne Perez are backstage and say that Guilia and Stephanie have no chance against them even if they were a big deal every where else. Fatal Influence walks by and say Jacy says it's the same thing with Kelani and it's about time they end her title reign. Kelani comes in and tells Rox she is underselling her competition and she won't be champ for much longer. Fallon tells Kelani to watch herself and after tonight they're spinning the wheel.

  • Backstage Nikkita Lyons tells Tyson and Tyrique that they gotta fight for opportunities because you never know when things may be taken away from you, Oba Femi walks by and hands Nikkita her coat saying she dropped it earlier...

  • In Ava's office Nathan Frazer is demanding a tag match against Je'von and Cedric Alexander and he doesn't even care if they need to put the tag titles on the line. Ava asks if he even ran this by Axiom as Axiom asks what he's doing but agrees to the match and Ava says she'll see about getting it set for next week. Lexis King walks in and tells Ava he can't find a cornerman and thinks it's all because no one can trust him due to his family and says Ava never had this problem.

  • Ridge Holland asks why Andre has so much anger towards one of his former students. He asks how it feels to see his cathedral torn down piece by piece until Andre is the only one left standing and the only thing between him and taking his rightful place and promises to give Andre his last ride.

  • Tony D'Angelo is interviewed backstage, he says Halloween Havoc is more than just this title, he took what Oba loved so Oba has taken away what he loved. If Oba wanted him all by himself then he's got to be careful for what he wishes for.

  • Kelani Jordan stands in the ring with the victorious Guilia and Stephanie before she looks towards the stage and Toxic Influence spin the wheel and it lands on spinner's choice. Fallon is about to make her selection when the lights go out and start to flicker as Zaria appears!
