The Acolyte is not groundbreaking, but it is entertaining.

I wasn't in a rush to watch the Acolyte when it got lackluster reviews. I binged the first 7 episodes on a flight today and it was entertaining. Definitely empty calories that didn't expand the universe much, but it wasn't nearly as bad as people suggested.

Sometimes I think this sub expects too much of the franchise.
