Haley Hating my Sunflower??

I gave Haley a sunflower, because everything says its one of her loved gifts, and she said “Gross!” to it, like hello? Am I going insane or is there something wrong with my game? Im playing on my computer through steam.

EDIT: I gave her another sunflower, and she liked it this time? Still not sure what happened, im playing with no mods either, so hopefully nothing like that happens again. Thanks for all the help guys!
