is there a time limit?

hello, so i just started play it two days ago and i've been wondering is there any time limit to play this? i looked up for some tips and some comments on reddit just listed whatever you need to do in your first year and honestly, it's quite overwhelming and grinding. i wanna play this game just for fun. i'm currenly in the summer and barely have 4k gold, no animal other than cat, cave is only floor 25, and i can only get little money from crops. i just don't wanna think too much when playing this game
