Need some help w upcoming blufans drop

So I am super interested I'm The up coming Hobbit drop from BluFans. I have never purchased from them before (or any premium drop yet) and in doing some research I ran into an IG profile (Jody Fox Steelraysand4ks) and they have this group buy they offer I assume to streamline the purchasing process? My question is, 1. Do you have to go through someone to inquire a release from blufans? 2. What is your normal process when you see a big drop that interests you? 3. Am I correct that the on sale date hasn't been established yet for the Hobbit trilogy? Finally anyone have experiences with using group buys?
