A new cpr card?

So I'm a new cna and I'm in a program for pct. I got into a hospital, got all the documents filled out and etc just for the hospital to say that the cpr that I had isn't accepted and it's only ONE accepted from a company they chose. I didn't even know this was a thing and now I have to wait til I get money to get a "new" cpr. I literally just got my cpr in December. Has this ever happened to anyone else before?
