I need a STRONG paddle
I recently bought a paddle board off amazon and it came with an aluminum paddle. Whenever I go out on my paddleboard I paddle pretty quickly and put alot of stress on the paddle, recently I've noticed my paddle starting to bend at the top of the paddle where the 3rd part slides into the lower part with the clamp. I'm paddling pretty hard but I don't think an aluminum paddle should be bending that quickly (I've had it out 15 times since I bought it this summer), has anyone had similar issues and had better luck buying a nice aluminum paddle that's stronger?
I went to my local sports store and they were showing me carbon and fiberglass paddles but that's a bit more than I'd like to spend on a paddle.
Is this a common issue? Let me know, thanks!
EDIT: After looking around online I ended up finding a 5 peice fiberglass paddle for $39.99 👉 https://irockersup.ca/products/nautical-5-piece-fiberglass-paddle
Thank you everyone for the advice!
