Which Zelda Game?

Hello everyone. I recently bought Zelda Tears of the Kingdom because it had such good reviews, but the game completely disappointed me. Totally boring, way too big, monotonous and everything keeps breaking. I sold it after 6 hours of playing. I'm thinking about buying Link's Awakening, can you recommend it? Breath of the Wild is supposed to be very similar to Tears of the Kingdom...
