Dating a Swiss/ German as South Italian

Hello,

I want to ask what is your experience with dating Swiss and German coming from a more “warm” culture.

I am getting out(she decided that) of the relationship number 3, with a Dutch, and before was with a German and Swiss.

I do not have a problem with the culture itself, I can easily adapt to that, but mostly with the way of intending a relationship and showing love.

As you can imagine I am more on the emotional side and spending most of the free time with partner, but this has been all the time labeled as “toxic”, indeed is quite normal in my culture.

The last relationship with the Dutch least almost 2 years, but I did not see her adapting, more ignoring my needs. At the end stuff like cooking all the food she wanted everyday and making tiramisu got translated in: “he wants you to become a fat mamma and isolate you”.

I am quite struggling, because every time it hurts me deeply, I can not help myself, I need to express all the emotions, do you think I should give up on dating different cultures?
