How to STOP tapping iPhone without password?

Hi for Transport NSW, I lost money a few times with my phone being close to the tapping machine when I swiped my opal card, so I double paid, and it is non-refundable.

It charged my bank card.

How can I turn off phone tapping machine payment without Password permission? Does anyone know?
