He calls me "dear" and "my dear", adivce please
First of all, I'm 17F and he's (roughly, I don't wanna give too many details) between 24-27M. We're from a country that doesn't typically use these terms, like people in the UK do. He only started to do so recently and I feel sick to my stomach because he did it in a pretty weird way as well. He also always makes jokes and sometimes I feel interrupted because instead of talking about my problems, he goes to making jokes or sometimes it moves like a normal conversation between two people, instead of one between a therapist and a patient. An example; I'm talking about how in school I feel terrible due to different things and he starts telling me about him and his time in high school. And it seems like he always tries to get a reaction out of me. But it toally feels a bit weird, more than just trying to seem relatable. I was also talking about feeling misunderstood and he asked me if having a lover would fix that. He only started calling me "my dear" after this. He also sometimes tells me not to talk to anyone about what we do in our sessions anyway. Which like, maybe it's because of all the jokes he makes. But I feel a bit weird.
I don't know. What should I do? Is this normal? I've been harassed and have gotten weird attetion from weird males before, so I might be a bit paranoid. Please give me advice
