Noise Surge Luna 400% with buff stacking, MP dumps and guide

Just posting this for people who really want to play the character because they like her as much as I do and don't want to wait for her to finally get some buffs/changes to play her. Luna is clunky as hell to play and also very challenging to play to her full potential but you can't really get a challenge anywhere else in this game right now, so you may as well get it from the one character that offers one with her playstyle. Even at her full potential, she is easily outdone by other much easier to play characters so if you don't really want a challenge, just wait for her to get some buffs/changes to play her.

The main thing to know about Luna is that her notes do not match her songs so in order to play the character without staring at the middle of the screen, you will need to practice her mini game, memorize the rythm that forms as you hit the notes and playback that rythm in your head while you hit the notes. Unless you're really quick at doing that, it's going to take a while before you can play her without staring at the middle of the screen. If you listen to the rythm i'm making in the video after I build my buff stacks, you can tell i'm just playing back the same rythm over and over again.

In order to do the most damage possible with Luna, you will need to build and maintain her self buffs. The most important buff is the crit chance buff from her second skill. The rotation I use is 2 cycles of her 2, 3 cycles of her 3 however you will always use her enhanced "inspiration bar full" on her 2nd skill. From there on, after her enhanced skill you will use her 3 once, then use her 4 for the notes and continue using her 2nd skill for the enhanced skill.

Mp dumps are when you hold down the fire button during dense note sections of the song for some increased burst damage against bosses. Idealy, you would use this during her 3rd song but with her noise surge build, I find it's easier to use it at the beginning of her 4th song since you get a pretty dense note section right off the rip then go back into your rotation without losing your buffs.
