TFD Devs appreciation
This game has come a long way from preseason to season 2.
I really appreciate how much devs have listened and found right rhythm for game.
Story time:
Preseason was all about grinding base stuff with as much delay as possible. 5 mins outpost reset timer to hiding behind void shreds which need to be grinded separately. It was all about delaying people's grind.
Add in no catalysts and no catalysts change ports. You got impossible strong colossus to kill. Further delayed if you choose normal colossus with 3% drop rate.
They had right idea for giving bunny and TC early in game to help grind.
Remember those Kuiper mine runs? Anyone?
Season 1 was on same line with expected Hailey grind of 12 days and solo inversion puzzles.
Then developers started listening. Rapid changes and good changes as per community feedback.
Outposts moved to 1 min and later 30 seconds. Void shreds became no brainer.
Inversion can be played public
Nerfed dead bride to help new players to progress story.
Then came season 2. New mats and generous drops of dog food. Web events and in game events for free weapon parts. Colossus with no mechanisms.
Devs moved from grind and grind to take these and get good builds. Exactly what community wanted.
I feel this game is going in right direction by making almost all bosses as private. All missions and ops can be done in private. New players can level up miles faster compared to preseason players.
