I’m having trouble transferring my season 1 saves to season 2 on my steam deck? Any help would be appreciated

I completed season one on my steam deck and when I went to start season two, but it wasn’t able to find any saves from the first game. I know a lot of people were having trouble with this issue, but hopefully someone knows what I can do.
