Whats the deal with people who pick out characters just to abuse one or two moves

Got no vids or screenshots but its always annoying when you face up against a character you main/know can do cool shit, but they end up doing the most barebones ass gameplay that is not even optimal to begin with. Like as a johnny player (sorry for the salt caused by my continued existence), its always really annoying when fighting tower (floor 7-9) johnnys who just spam kmf in neutral and guardcrush strike/throw pressure only rather than even doing any tk mist finers.

(Also extra thing: if youre making your character saucy by doing unoptimal stuff or just doing anything thats harder in execution or just looks cool asf, i respect you and thank you for you service to make this game more fun to watch and play)
