Repeatedly dreaming of your childhood female friend

We used to play together when we were kids. She had beautiful blue eyes, blonde hair and she was fair skinned.. her smile was something out of this world. I dream about her alot with affection and last night I did again and we almost kissed. We hugged each other and our lips touched as we kiss each other on the cheeks. I never felt so happy. I dont think heroin would amount to this level of love and warmth that I felt with her in my dream. Its been about 14 years since we last saw each other and I’m wondering how is it even possible to have such powerful feelings for her and dream about her well over 14 years later... I really miss her, and love her alot, it seems.
