London - Terracotta Army?
Seriously, what the hell London? I get it that a full on mosh pit is not really “Tool”, but did anyone else feel like this was 19,000 folks out on corporate hospitality to see “a famous band at the o2”.
I paid a month’s mortgage for this gig and most people around me seemed unmoved (many didn’t know any songs) and a worryingly amount left before the end. The near constant stream of people leaving to go to the bar mid-song was bizarre.
For info, we were sat just behind the sound desk. So arguably prime seat and definitely well placed to see what was happening.
Am I just old? Do I need to travel overseas to find a more appreciative crowd? If so, does anyone recommend anywhere in particular?
FYI I did love the gig. First time I’ve seen them since 2006 so very happy right now!
