How does Total Wireless compare to Verizon Prepaid - specifically throttling

I have the 15GB Verizon Prepaid plan and have noticed at certain times my speeds drop to 2G levels (~128kbps) yet I have full bars. This happens to my wife as well (same plan, different phone) so I'm think we're being throttled/de-prioritized in some way. Curious if TotalWireless will be better - Looking at the 5G+ unlimited plan
