Vestibular Migraine Plot Twist
Hi all, I’m new here. About 18m ago I was diagnosed with vestibular migraine by a neuro-otologist. My life has literally been upside down with vertigo, balance issues, derealization that never goes away, and so much more. I thought it would be a good idea to see a functional dr (for what I thought were unrelated reasons) and within minutes she told me it sounded like I had a mold issue, not an underlying neurological condition. I did a test through Real Time Labs- mycotoxins are definitely present.
I’m curious: from those who have come before me, are these results particularly high relative to yours? Or is this just what it looks like? I’m feeling pretty spun out about the development, and trying to get my head around it. Thanks in advance - and happy healing.
Ps, I am on a protocol to remove the mycotoxins that seems appropriate, from what I’ve read so far, but I’m only a week in.
