Recruiters, Anyone-- How to quantify this work experience for future contracts?

Hi all,

For the last two years I've been working in the ECT procedure department of a hospital. For those unfamiliar, it's a rather lovely gig that involves a little bit from every other unit:

  • We place IVs, line & labs, and take vitals to start.

  • We follow the pt to the procedure room where they are placed under anesthesia, monitored, and administered the ECT.

  • The pt then goes into our "miniPACU" where they are monitored until they begin to rouse. Our main job here is to monitor airway and vitals.

  • Lastly, we escort them to our "medsurge unit" where they are supported as they wake up disoriented.

  • We process discharge paperwork.

I was a travel nurse for awhile before this job, and now that I'm moving with my husband to another city, I'd like to try to do it some more. But... how do I market this experience?

If it helps, my previous work experience was in ED and med-tele.

What kinds of contracts could I market myself to? Barring that, what kinds of staff positions could I market to?

Thanks for any insight.
