Anyone else annoyed with companies shaving miles in order to artificially lower pay?

My next load, from my current position to the Shipper and then from the Shipper to the Consignee, has me driving 1018 miles.

Meanwhile, the company is paying me for only 954 miles. It's only 64 miles taken off, but at my pay rate of $0.71/cpm, that means they're taking $45+ out of my paycheck on this trip alone.

Taking into account that they do this on every single load, it adds up to $1000s over the course of the 4 months I've been with these guys.

"We pay zip code to zip code, not hub miles" is the greatest scam in the trucking industry.
