PIC for attention. But what is the modern day Rolex sub, as it was originally designed. Tool watch, super robust, dive watch that’s not just jewellery.

Is it the Pelagos 39, the Monochrome? Something entirely different?

I currently have a black bay pro and a black bay chrono but I’m looking to scratch the tool dive/do anything watch. I’m currently looking at the Pelagos 39 and the monochrome but wondering if I’m missing anything.

I have a citizen promaster that is all tool but doesn’t have the finish I’m looking for even though it’s basically bulletproof.
