Visiting Tunisia in April – Need Advice😊

Hello, Tunisians! 👋🏻😄

I’ll be visiting your beautiful country in April for 10 days, and I’m super excited! I have some questions though.

Would it be okay if I book just one hotel room in Tunis for the entire duration of my stay and then travel back and forth to other cities? Cause I'd love to visit Sousse, El Jem, Dougga, and Bulla Regia.

Or would it be better to book separate hotel rooms in each city I'm visiting?

Here's what I've planned so far:

• I booked a hotel in Tunis for 6 nights to explore Carthage and Bizerte (and maybe take day trips to Dougga and Boula Regia – still deciding).
• I booked a hotel in Sousse for 3 nights to enjoy Sousse, El Jem, and possibly Kairouan.

Do you think this plan makes sense, or would it be better to just stay in Tunis for 9 nights and commute all over the country?

Also, I’d love some advice on the best ways to get around:

• Should I use trains or taxis?
• Are apps like inDrive or Bolt reliable?
• I’ve heard about Louage, is it available in all cities, and would you recommend it?

I’m trying to keep things simple, but I don’t want to exhaust myself either. What’s the best in your opinion?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
