Migraines + ADHD = oof

It's just simple math!!

I get muscle migraines and sometimes only get around 2 a month. They suck, but I can deal. Im having one of those months where I'm having 4+. While they are happening they are extremely debilitating, duh, but having a few if them a month fucks me up.

It's so hard to manage. With ADHD, I can underestimate how long schoolwork/errands will take me. I'm pushing it to the limit sometimes. But mentally I'm like "it's ok! I don't work tomorrow, I have all day to do these tasks so it'll be fine!!"

The BOOM I get a migraine that day, sometim so for the next couple days, and I'm totally useless, and scrambling last minute.

I think one of the trickiest things about managing these two things is when I have a migraine that starts let's say in the AM. I'm like "ok today is a write off I guess." But then if it starts getting better that evening and I can think/function again, I'm extremely understimulated from like, laying in a dark room unable to nap all day, so if I want to do the boring tasks like homework I have to engage in an interest for a while to build up stimulation I guess?? To then be able to focus on the boring task finally?? But if it's late in the day I will get tired before I am able to start said homework task since my best brain time is in the mornings usually. And then I can get frustrated that I thought I'd be able to do homework and I still actually can't lol.

I feel like this story is very specific and is like an onion with layers haha. But it's true! And it happens!! Idk if anyone else can relate but since I've started treating my ADHD I have started viewing my migraines as a disability(?) since they fuck me over so much.

Edit: omg your replies <3333 I'm on day 2 of this migraine im gonna reply when my brain works better again
