Let's say birth control becomes illegal and the Comstock Act is revived. Should we be concerned about being retroactively prosecuted for purchasing birth control prior to Trump taking office?

According to this article, the Comstock Act has a five-year statute of limitations which means that they could prosecute people for purchasing birth control prior to Trump even taking office. If things get to this point, how concerned do we need to be?

Is there any way to protect our health information? I am not very well-versed in healthcare confidentiality laws. I know there is HIPAA, but I don't know how those laws would translate to our privacy rights the should the government decide they want to try and find out if we have purchased birth control.

Does anyone have any insight about this and whether or not our information would be protected from government access under HIPAA? What about in the case of self-pay due to not having insurance? Would HIPAA still apply in that scenario? Is there anything that we can do now to help prep for this scenario?
