Translating the latin text around the AARO logo: "The Universe is changing. Our life is what our thoughts make it"

So I just noticed that, as with many military emblems, the AARO emblem has Latin text around it. It reads as follows:

Universitas mutao est.
Vita nostra est quod cogitationes nostras facere est.

I was curious, so I ran it through google translator. What I got back kind of surprised me:

The universe is changing.
Our life is what our thoughts make it.

My first reaction is that is a really odd thing to embed in the AARO logo. It seems to acknowledge/reinforce the consciousness aspect of the UFO phenomenon. Given the oppositional stance that AARO has taken on this subject to this point, I'd expect something more akin to "shining a light in the darkness" or maybe "If you see something, say nothing..." Instead, we get something that feels a lot woo-ier.

The second is that I wish I knew someone who was actually skilled in Latin to see if Google got all the nuance in the conjugation correct (or whether the person who first wrote the text was using grammatically correct latin).

Thoughts?

EDIT: this is now partially solved - the text is a poor translation back to Latin of a quote from Marcus Aurelius: “The universe is change; our life is what our thoughts make it”

Still doesn’t explain why that specific text was chosen, save that some lackey got assigned to make it and wanted to sound deep. Also doesn’t explain why they didn’t use the original text since it was first written down in Latin, but whatevs.

EDIT 2: Mystery solved. After reading more about stoicism and marcus aurelius, I'm beginning to think that this is yet another rabbit hole. Stoicism valued a number of traits and virtues that would also be prized, chief among which are logic and reason. Moreover, stoicism tends to reject the supernatural. These would seem to be pretty in-line with how AARO tries to present itself.
