What is everyone's definition of disclosure?

I'm relatively new to the UAP topic and have gone through the standard rabbit holes (Lazar, The Program, Phoenix Lights) while following recent developments like the orb sightings and transforming drones across NJ and globally. I want to explore what we mean when we talk about "disclosure" and what we realistically think the government knows.

After researching, here's where I land:

What's Confirmed:

  • The reality of well-documented cases like the Tic Tac, Jellyfish, and other incidents
  • Official government programs dedicated to UAP investigation
  • Multiple credible military encounters, including confirmed incursions over sensitive facilities
  • Congressional hearings and official acknowledgment of the phenomenon

What Seems Likely:

  • Crash retrievals (based on recent testimony and documentation)
  • Extensive classified data on encounters and characteristics
  • Compartmentalized programs studying the technology

What I'm Skeptical About:

  • Direct alien communication or ongoing contact
  • Complete understanding of the technology or origins
  • Biological specimens
  • A massive conspiracy hiding "the truth"

My working theory is that while there are certainly classified programs and recovered materials, the government is largely in the same position we are - they have more data points and some physical evidence, but they're still fundamentally uncertain about what they're dealing with. The compartmentalization and secrecy might be less about hiding clear answers and more about protecting methods, capabilities, and admitting uncertainty.

So I'm curious - when you talk about "disclosure," what exactly are you expecting to be disclosed? What do you think the government actually knows versus what they're trying to figure out?
