The most incredible job in this country: interviewer.
If I am an interviewer of celebrities and A-listers, if I go along to interview one of them and ask a load of irrelevant stupid questions, I'll get back to the office and get a blasting from my boss. It's 100% my fault the interview is crap.
However, if I am an interviewer of job candidates, ask a load of irrelevant stupid questions or don't really engage with the job candidate, the job candidate just gets rejected and I am let off scot-free. It is 100% the job candidate's fault the interview is crap.
I had a really terrible experience in the summer with two disinterested interviewers, despite trying to engage them they weren't having it and I lost out on a job.
I feel like this is an area for improvement as a society.
