confused…

So I recently applied for a preloading position and got the message that my application was declined and would not go any further. I worked as a seasonal helper this last peak, and today i checked my emails and saw that a day after i got the email that my application was declined I received an email from UPS Human Resources saying they are happy to have me join the team and tips for my first day, etc. What is going on? did i get the job? did i not? who can I contact to ask about it? The email also included a link to the upsers website which i am still able to login through with my old information from my seasoned position… just a little confused
