Pain!

Hey everyone so for the past month or so I’ve been worried about my package about whether the Chicago lockbox received it or didn’t. I didn’t have a tracking number as it was first class mail and I filed this on 10/28/24.

I called USCIS on Tuesday and basically they said they have no record of anything being sent so I panicked and asked her what should I do.

And basically they’ve told me to refile. They’ve said my overstay is absolutely fine because my husband filed my I130 and to be honest I see this as a blessing because my medical packet that I originally filed was all wrong apparently.

So I’m going to the doctors today for my first appointment with them and they’ve been amazing. Just wanted to update you all in regard to that. So hopefully I should be able to file next week now. Thank you all for your support and comments the last few weeks! I’ll update once filed! And this time I will be making sure I can track and paying by cheque!
