Contacting my Senator regarding my pending cases
Context: I filed on 06/18/24. AOS. Married to a USC. My I-765 was approved on 12/17/24, 182 days (6+ months) later. It was few days away from the date of inquiry (01/08/25).
I know every case is different, there’s people waiting for years, the Service Centers and FO have different workloads, etc., but seeing a looooot of cases from posterior months (even October, GOOD FOR THEM), being approved, makes me wonder if my pending cases will continue being forgotten…
I won’t wait until 05/16/26 (my inquiry date for I-485), to get a more detailed information about my pending cases (I-130 and I-485), since the Live Agents have limited access to certain information, so today I decided to contact my US Congress Senator. They already answered me and created a case.
