Finished fingerprinting, now what?

So I got sent an e-mail with attachments to print and bring with me for the fingerprinting process. I did as such and when I got to the Live Scan facility, they didn’t even ask for the files printed (they were basically letters of acknowledgment and personal information). I did my fingerprinting and they told me I’d get a call within 2 days - a week. I’m wondering how everyone else’s experience has went and given how little jobs areeee calling back, I have reason to be hesitant. I just wanna know what your experiences were with the application/hiring process. Will they actually call even if I’m denied employment?
