Seeking information or advice on the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam

Hi I'm a math and physics major at UT, the latter of which has a foreign language requirement. Though my GPA could benefit from the boost of those classes, the 12 hours would take up quite a bit of my schedule and I want to be able to graduate as close to on-time as possible.

I am a native Vietnamese speaker (but a bit out of practice since I am not home most of the time but I can read and write better than I can speak lol), and although Vietnamese is not offered here, UT apparently offers FL proficiency exams for Vietnamese and other languages they don't teach (but, peculiarly, I've never heard anyone talk about even though it seems like such a great and affordable option but maybe that's because I don't really have friends but I digress).

Has anyone heard anything about these exams or taken them personally? I am mostly wondering about the general format, types of questions, and level of the exams.
