Can MATA29 from UTSC be used to satisfy program requirement instead of MAT135?
Made a similar post at /UTSC and thought I should ask here too. I'm confused about whether MATA29 - Calculus for life sciences (a UTSC course), can be used as a UTSG program requirement instead of MAT135H1. MATA29 is a requirement first year calculus for life science programs at UTSC.
At UTSG, MAT135 is a program requirement for first year math life sciences. Given they are both first year math for life sciences, I thought they'd be equivalent, but I cannot find MATA29 in transfer explorer, it's not listed as an exclusion on MAT135's calendar, and it's not listed in UTSG's transfer equivalency chart.
I moved so I am closer to UTSC and things are busy right now, so I'd like to take this course at UTSC, and go back to UTSG next fall (I am not officially transferring to UTSC, just taking a couple of courses here until things settle down). Trying out a UTSC course was a last minute decision, but I emailed the math department regarding this weeks ago, followed up again, never heard back. I need MAT135/136 for my program requirements.
