My chances for UofT Law, advice on strengthening my application
Hi everyone,
I’d love to get some insight into my chances of being admitted to UofT’s law program! I recently completed my undergraduate degree, and I’m set to begin a master’s in public and international affairs this coming September. However, I was also accepted to the Munk School of Global Affairs. Would it be better for me to accept the Munk offer to strengthen my application for UofT Law down the line?
A bit about me: I have experience working in government and for a major transportation company. My GPA for my best three years, calculated according to UofT’s standards, is 3.8, and my LSAT score is 167. As a BIPOC candidate, I qualify to apply through an access stream. Additionally, I was highly involved in extracurricular activities during my undergrad, and I volunteered in Africa to support children’s education initiatives.
Would pursuing a master’s and achieving strong grades increase my chances of getting into UofT Law? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
