Dodging flashes IRL

Hello guys. I just wanted to ask cuz I feel weird and my friends laugh at me when I dodge flashes IRL. I'm Immortal 2 and I kinda developed the habit of looking away from my screen when dodging flash (which I succeed 80% of the time). Even if just watching my friends play and someone throws a flash, I freakin look away. Is that weird? If so, I am gonna try my best to remove the habit ^^
