Anyone a venomous keeper in Kentucky? Is it legal?

I see a lot of different information depending on the website you go to... Some say it is 100% no venomous snakes allowed and permits are not distributed(minus hognose)... While others say you can own them without a permit if you buy them within the state and have no intention of the animal leaving the state. So I'm looking to see if anyone lives in my state and is a venomous keeper. I'd love to start my collection. I have training with them from my time living in Oklahoma, so I'm not inexperienced with hot snakes. Anyone got any info on this? Might just have to suck it up and move back to the South in Texas, although I wouldn't mind living there.
