Single, 33M, disabled vet, looking to move from Houston, Texas to Virginia. Any advice on where to go?

No dependents, just cats and myself. I make disability benifits, so its just a matter of finding a place within price range. My current rent is around $1300 for a 1BR.

I'm doing college online. No opposed to doing in person classes at a local school.

Looking to set down roots else where.
