MBA earners, what do you do for work?

I just started the MBA program at WGU and I'm really hoping obtaining this degree will make a difference in my current career path. I am trying to escape the thankless grind of the hospitality industry, which is anything but a 9-5 gig. Do you feel like earning your MBA made a difference? What industry/position are you in and do you enjoy it?
