Best 5 gallon water distiller? Which one should I get between the two?
I'm looking to buy a 5 gallon water distiller I can have sitting besides my sink to filter out all the contaminants found in tap water and other water filter systems.
So far the two best 5 gallon water distillers I found are: https://www.h2olabs.com/p-149-h2omatic-5-gallon-per-day-automatic-water-distiller-3-gallon-reserve.aspx
and https://rockymountainwaterdistillers.com/products/pure-water-midi-classic-automatic-water-distiller
Which one is better between the two? Both are about the same price but $2000 is really expensive for a water filter system. I have a cheap 2 gallon water filter currently but it's a hassle to use and isn't hooked up to the sink pipe so it requires me to fill it up then clean it out each time.
Also read from somewhere that to be 100% certain that all PFAS, chlorine, chloramine, micro plastics, etc, are fully removed is to then filter the distilled water through an activated charcoal block. The activated charcoal part is necessary because a miniscule amount of contaminants will become airborne and be part of the distilled water. I'm not sure what equipment I need for the activated charcoal filter so advice on what I should get would be appreciated.
Thanks everyone
