Plot holes

Just got done rereading all the main 15 books, here's some things that I think might be plot holes and worth discussion/ fun to think about. For the sake of fun of course. Not all are major

The timeline for arc 1 makes little sense.

The prophecy of the original 5 books was made 20 years before it was concluded in book 5 with sunny.

We learned in starflight's book that it was made as a plan to invade the rainwings, and to get an ally on the sandwing thrown to assist them. As I currently understand.

Then tunnels were made approximately 7 years before the prophecy was fulfilled.

When glory had gotten to the rainforest, the Nightwings had discovered the rainwings venom a year prior. This discovery was made approximately 5-6 years after the tunnels were made.

I ask what on earth were they doing for those 6 years? Perhaps I could understand why they hadn't done anything before the tunnels were built, but afterwards what held them back? I assume some study and scouting on your enemies would be necessary, but why would that take six years when your tribe needs leaving immediately? It must've been very lousy spying, if it took them 6 years to discover venom, and they hadn't even found the rainwing village in that time.

Arc 2 there's quite a few plot holes in this that I can remember.

There's the classic icewing Animus thing. It doesn't really make sense on how they lost it. They lost artic yes, but there were still many relatives that should've carried the Animus gene. Which we all probably know is passed down from parent to dragonet, even if the parent was not an Animus. We know this due to queen coral having two children that had Animus magic. Coral herself obviously was not an Animus. The only explanation I've heard is that they're unlucky. Which I suppose could work, but it's a bit of a lousy excuse.

There was also the tiny plothole of sunny and the dreamvisitor. We know from starflight's book, that you can't smell anything in the dreams of the dragons you're visiting. So sunny shouldn't have been able to smell the scorpion den while she was dreamvistiting ostrich in qibli's book.

Here's the major one, kinkajou's plan to take out darkstalker could not work. But not for the reason you're probably thinking. Darkstalkers scroll was enchanted to contain all of his Animus magic. Only able to return apon it's destruction. At the end of book seven, and begining of book eight, we obviously see him use Animus magic to break out of the mountain. Meaning all darkstalkers magic had returned to him. Ergo, the scraps of the scroll still held by chameleon had no more power. The enchantment already on them could still work, but it shouldn't have been able to create new enchantments.

Arc 3

When the silkwings escaped with the leaf wings they had their metal wrist cuffs. As we have seen with blues wrist cuff, his contained a toxin that knocked him out. We know at the hivewings have used these cuff for a few years. At the very least since blue had been in silkworm hall. So why hadn't the hundreds of silkwings fallen into the ocean on their flight from continent? Especially the youngest among them? Same issue applies to all the other silkwings who've fled from the hives.
