Hot take: Minho is cringe

I keep seeing people saying he carried the show or he was the only good character, and I just don't agree with that. He is a cringe character in a cringe cast (the only real exceptions are Q, Florian and maybe the teachers). He's not immune just because he's conventionally attractive and some of you want to self-insert yourselves into the show.

1) Accuses Kitty of chasing Korean guys like Pokémon - what reason did he have for saying this? Their only interactions up to that point were her trying to befriend him and getting peeved when he'd been rude.

2) Spreads the Portland Stalker nickname - again, he doesn't really have a reason for doing so. Dae was happy to see her! It speaks kind of badly to his friendship with Dae if he can't tell this was the wrong way to go. (If this was a less cringy show, either he wouldn't have said it in the first place or this would've had more serious consequences on Kitty's social life.)

3) His "famously anti-Kitty" line - the line was decent but the delivery was not that good.

4) His reaction to realising the girl he was into was Kitty - cringe. I would avoid him in the club.

5) His break-up with Madison - they were casual for a week and he was acting so dramatic. "...Goodbye, Madison Miller." "...Okay then, I will see you tomorrow on the bus." You know it's bad when I'm taking the goddamn Koreaboo's side 😭

6) Telling Kitty that he's fallen in love with her a lot - I think the show wants us to buy it but why would I when they snip at each other so much? And beyond the insanity of saying this at the beginning of an 11 hour trip, it's just disrespectful to confess to your best friend's ex immediately after they've broken up.

In conclusion: I'm glad Kitty made him shit himself that one time.
