Xbox App/Microsoft Store Not Working

I have been attempting to download some games from the Gamepass for a few weeks now. However, when I click the green install button in the Microsoft Store, it turns grey and nothing happens. I figured I would use the Xbox App to install the game, however it is stuck on the initial screen with the message, "Launching the Xbox App."

I have tried nearly every troubleshooting method I have seen from other Reddit posts, Microsoft support threads, and YouTubes video several times, but nothing seems to work. Some suggested to factory reset my PC, but I would prefer not to unless absolutely necessary.

This seems to be a common issue from what I have seen, so it would be greatly appreciated if anyone has suggestions for a fix.
