Should I?

Hey guys, I have been planning to purchase a Xbox Series S around March. Trying to save some money until then. My question is as it has been already more than 4 years since its launch, should I purchase it or not due to its next variant launching relatively soon around 2027 maybe? Also, my big reason to buy it is due to GTA 6. I just wanna play it. So, will the Series S be able to run GTA 6 smoothly or not? These are my big concerns. Pls tell
